This website is a static presentation. It has no contact form, no user accounts, no comments, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. It sets no cookies and loads no content from third-party servers: the fonts and images are hosted on the same server.

Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). When you visit the site, the hosting provider processes technical access data that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the site and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website). A data processing agreement is in place with the provider; where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Storage in your browser

If you choose a theme (system, light or dark) or switch the language, your choice is saved in the local storage of your browser (keys "theme" and "locale"). These values stay on your device, are not transmitted to me and are used only to show the page in the chosen theme and language on your next visit. Access is technically necessary for these functions you requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).

Links to other websites

This website links to external profiles and pages (for example GitHub, Xing, LinkedIn, Instagram and the websites of former employers). If you follow such a link, the operator of the target page receives data about your visit. I have no influence on this; please refer to the privacy policies of these providers.

Contact by email

If you write to me, I process your email address and the content of your message only to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if the message relates to a contract. I delete the data once your request is dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under the GDPR. You can withdraw any consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
